  • Spur Petroleum Works, Bury – conversion of former brewery/bitumen manufacturer to residential use, involving significant groundwater remediation, for Together, 2012-14
  • James Street, Radcliffe – project management of former employment site including obtaining planning permission for residential, for contractor C Smith & Sons, 2011-14

  • Swan Lodge, Bury for residential, landscape and flood alleviation – reclamation of landfill and flood storage for River Irwell surcharge; development supported by LPA
  • Rhodia Whitehaven for residential – remediation of former chemical factory, dissolution features, extensive concrete foundations; new coal mine on the balance of the site for West Cumbria Mining; development supported by LPA
  • Thorpe-on-the-Hill, Leeds for residential – former sandstone and clay quarries; waste allocation/employment use to overcome
  • Crimble Mill, Rochdale – building deterioration, flooding, Greenbelt residential development to support retention of desirable heritage site; site allocated in GMSF (2019)
  • Turner Brothers, Rochdale; former asbestos manufacturers – buried asbestos, asbestos roofs, steep topography, flooding, former mining, contaminated groundwater, restricted access; development supported by LPA
